We are offering a workshop for youths ages 7 and older, and Friday/Saturday workshops for adults. All workshops are pre-registered.

Learn how to combine digital cutting machines and 3D printing to create your own 1:12 spice village. Additional projects will be provided as well. No previous experience required.

Items and tools to bring to class: Cutting mat, craft knife, small paint brushes and any lighting that you may want to add to your project.

Cherie's Macabre Lighting Effects

Join Cherie, of Cherie's Macabre Minis for a crash course on the basics of dollhouse lighting and how to take that knowledge and create the creepy, dim, flickery lighting you always wanted. We'll also go into some new lighting technology that may just change how we light displays in the future. Every student will get hands-on experience with at least two different power sources and assorted LED bulbs that you will get take home as well as a custom written booklet explaining everything discussed during class. Lighting novices welcome as well as the experienced folks who want to learn how to take their displays to the next level. No tools necessary, all will be provided in the class.

Petals Under The Parasol: A Love In Bloom Garden Set

Create a romantic 1:12 scale garden set featuring an umbrella table and two upholstered chairs. Students will learn basic upholstery techniques for a two-part miniature chair, including fabric placement, clean finishing, and the application of decorative trim. Students will also embellish the umbrella and table and receive useful tips and tricks that can be applied when upholstering other basic miniature chairs. Each student will complete the project in their choice of Rose, Pink, Blue, or Purple. Class includes: Umbrella table and two chairs, Fabric and decorative trim, Precision curved tweezers, Precision 6-inch metal ruler, Filled glue syringe, Instruction and upholstery tips.

Students must select a project color when registering. Available color choices are Rose, Pink, Blue, or Purple. Please ask students to provide both a first and second color choice. Exact shades of fabric and trim may vary slightly according to availability. No previous upholstery experience is required.

Tools: Sharp fabric scissors and a work mat. Suggested but not required: Utility shears for cutting heavier trim or materials.

Learn how to create a charming and decorative dollhouse miniature fish tank using decorations, miniature fish, sand, pebbles, shells and UV resin. Create a unique fish tank for your room box or dollhouse. Feel free to bring other special materials that you wish to add to your scene.

Create a one of a kind candle for your home and two for your mini project or dollhouse. You will get to sip and pour while picking your own unique scent and decorate the top of all your candles with natural and fun items. If you love candles, you will LOVE this project. The scents that are used are all natural with nothing that can harm you or your home.

Once you add your candle to your miniature scene, others will enjoy the unique scent that you created and wonder how you were able to make your dollhouse or room box smell so good! Grab your friends and let's have some FUN!
